Shipping Policy

Le Gourmet Central is committed and dedicated to getting your order safely to your destination as promptly as possible.

Shipping Methods & Estimated Time

We usually ship all items within 48 hours of receiving your order within the contiguous United States. Please consider this turnaround time when placing your order. If you need it to arrive by a specific day, please write this in the notes or contact us.

The majority of our orders are shipped via USPS and UPS Ground Services. That means that in-stock items will arrive on your doorstep within two to nine business days after receiving your order. This allows the time it takes for us to hand craft your order, and ship it from our warehouse via Standard Ground or Priority Mail delivery service.

Weekends and holidays are not business days and cannot be used to estimate the arrival date. Ground shipping is NOT guaranteed for a certain date, therefore, there will be no refunds for early or late arrivals. We are not responsible for any delivery delays due to third parties or carriers. Orders are usually processed within two business days after we receive them.

Perishable foods

Available shipping options are determined by the perishability of the product/s in your order, and it's calculated at checkout. Perishable foods require fast shipping to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Please note that in order to avoid weekend transit, orders placed after 11AM PT / 2PM ET on Tuesday with 2-Day shipping, will ship on Monday of the following week.

Shipping and Handling Charges

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout, using the most accurate method and are determined by the perishability of the product/s in your order. We do not charge a handling or box extra-charge on any order.

Orders of $79 or more of non-perishable foods are temporarily eligible for free ground shipping to the contiguous 48 states. 

Delivery

Orders will be shipped via UPS or USPS to the contiguous 48 states. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii differ from the time and rate tables listed here. Le Gourmet Central can guarantee delivery only to correct & complete street addresses. We are unable to forward a package in the event of an incorrect or incomplete street address.

Shipping costs vary depending on the products perishability, weight and size, destination and chosen shipping rate.

 

Please note the following:

- We do not charge a handling or box extra-charge on any order.

- If you need to receive your order before the regular delivery term or want to add "Signature Confirmation", please email us at info@legourmetcentral.com We will offer you the best custom solution.

- We reserve the right to make changes to the shipping fees at any time. In the event an adjustment is necessary, you will be contacted for approval prior to shipping the package or making any changes.

 

Puerto Rico Shipping:

Let us know which what you would like to order (product name and quantity) and the shipping address. We would come back to you with an estimate that could be better than the standard shipping cost in the chart above.

 

Address Issues, Missed/Refused Deliveries, Other Delivery Issues


We ship your order to the address that you provide us. It is the customer's responsibility to specify both correct and complete information. Should the address be incomplete or incorrect, your shipment may be delayed, and you will be responsible for all shipping charges. The determination of the delivery driver as to the deliverability of a package shall be final. We will not have any responsibility for late or non-delivery of goods arising from incorrect delivery information being provided.

It is also the customer's responsibility to make himself available to receive a shipment with signature confirmation required. Failure to do so may cause a delay in the shipment, and you will be responsible for all shipping charges if returned to us.

In the event that you do not receive a shipment, you must notify us within five (7) days of the scheduled delivery. Failure to do so compromises our ability to locate the missing package, and as a result claims for a lost package reported after this period will not be honored.
We will not be responsible for any lost package marked as "delivered" by the carrier. However, we will investigate the issue and do our best to locate your package. If this happens, we will open a claim with the carrier and issue a refund only if the carrier grants the claim. This claim process usually takes around 3 weeks.
