Ingredients:
- 250ml dry sparkling wine, such as Cava or Prosecco
- 2tbsp rosemary simple syrup
- 1.5 tbsp Mrs Bridges Peach & Prosecco Preserve
- rosemary sprig to garnish
Rosemary Simple Syrup Ingredients:
- 125ml water
- 8 tbsp sugar
- a few sprigs of rosemary
Instructions:
Rosemary Simple Syrup Method
STEP 1
Combine water, sugar and rosemary leaves in a small saucepan.
STEP 2
Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Simmer for 1 minute.
STEP 3
Remove from heat and let syrup steep, about 30 minutes.
STEP 4
Pour the syrup into a sterilized glass jar through a sieve to remove the rosemary leaves.
STEP 5
Leave to cool before using.
STEP 6
Add one tablespoon of Mrs Bridges Peach & Prosecco Preserve and 1 tbsp of rosemary simple syrup to a coupe glass.
STEP 7
Carefully top up with sparkling wine, and gently stir with a bar spoon to mix.
STEP 8
Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary.
