Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese is prepared from 100% raw cow's milk. Aged for a minimum of 16 months. Parmigiano is a tasty and sophisticated cheese that can be served as a table cheese or used to produce various dishes. It goes well with any robust Tuscan wine or dried fruits.
This Parmigiano is sourced from carefully chosen creameries. It is made between April and November to ensure that the milk comes solely from cattle fed on fresh pastures in the designated production region. This is known as a "zona tipica" and comprises Reggio-Emilia, Modena, and Parma. Only in these locations may true DOC Parmigiano be produced.
